Appointed Senior Pastor of the United Methodist Church of Lake Orion on July 1, 2004. Rev. Denton is a graduate of Adrian College (B.A. 1972) and was awarded a Master of Divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (1975). Bruce was ordained a deacon of the United Methodist Church in 1973 and an elder in 1976. His pastorates include Iron River UMC (1975-78), Harrisville and Lincoln UMC's (1978-83), West Branch UMC (1983-88), Associate Pastor, Birmingham First UMC (1988-95), Flushing UMC (1995-2004), and the UMC of Lake Orion (2004-).
Rev. Denton is married to Jeannine, a Public Health Nurse serving in Oakland County. They share two sons: Michael, who lives in North Carolina with his wife, Nicole, and their daughter, McKenzie; and Christopher, who lives in Clarkston, Michigan. Bruce's hobbies and special interests include watching a good movie, photography, and spoiling his grand-daughter.

margemunger@comcast.netAppointed Associate Pastor of the United Methodist Church in July, 2002. Marge was appointed here because of her desire to serve on a multi-staff church with a vital ministry and an active congregation, and has not been disappointed. Marge enjoys being a member of this energetic, creative, and committed staff. The staff echoes Marge's belief that "ministry is the work of God done by the people of God. Our purpose is to help other people find, claim, and use their gifts to glorify God through significant ministries."
Rev. Munger's areas of responsibility are primarily adult education, welcome and assimilation of
newcomers, missions, and Worship leadership. Marge also enjoys leading a Bible study class for
high school youth in our mid-week LOGOS program. Rev. Munger's personal interests include camping,
hiking, gardening, reading, crosswords, and being with friends. She is married to Dennis, has
two adult children, and a granddaughter that lives in Ohio.
Prior to serving at the United Methodist Church of Lake Orion, Marge has served at Bristol and Dimond
UMC's in Flint, Cherry Hill UMC in Canton, and Fellowship UMC in Troy.
Donna Waite

donna.waite@sbcglobal.netChristian Education Director since August of 1994. Donna's main responsibilities are with the Children's Sunday School, LOGOS, and Vacation Bible School. The United Methodist Church of Lake Orion is a very vibrant church with lots of families in it's congregation. Every year, more and more children and youth participate in our programs. Over 100 adults assist Donna in the church's programs and it remains her pleasure to work with them to bring Jesus Christ to our children and youth.
Donna's greatest joy is being with the children whenever she can. She is also actively involved in United
Methodist Women and brings their focus on missions to her ministry.

renee.albert@bbdodetroit.comRenee began working with the youth of our church and community as a volunteer before she was hired as the Youth Director. Renee has two daughters that grew up in our church and regularly participated in all of our youth ministry programs. Renee believes her daughters benefited from these programs and so continues to lead the youth ministries as a calling from God and the mission of her heart.
As the Youth Director, Renee has responsibility for numerous ministries. These ministries include the
Youth Energized Stephen Series (Y.E.S.S), Youth Ministry Trip Team, Project S.H.A.L.O.M., United
Methodist Youth Fellowship, Youth DISCIPLE Bible Study, and the Monthly Youth Fellowship Events.
Amanda Quan

loumc1@sbcglobal.netAmanda has been the secretary at the United Methodist Church of Lake Orion since 2001. She and her husband are leaders in the Hispanic ministry at Mt. Zion Church in Clarkston. She believes the Lord has placed her in this position to teach her the business aspect of managing a church. Amanda and her husband have a calling to Central/South America to minister to the people in those countries. Their first step will be El Salvador, where her husband grew up. The training that she has received at the United Methodist Church of Lake Orion will be very useful as God takes them to other nations to minister His love to the people of Latin America.

lisa.goyette@sbcglobal.netLisa is a 1984 graduate of Central Michigan University where she earned a Bachelors degree in Social Work with a minor in Gerontology. Lisa's career led her to the program management field where she worked for over 21 years. She was employed by the U.S. Government for three years and most recently, for 18 years, at Williams International, where she managed and negotiated contracts involving the sale of jet turbine engines for small business jets.
In 2007, Lisa decided to pursue her original career choice; helping people. This decision led her to train
as a Stephen Minister at Christ the Redeemer. Lisa also volunteers at LOVE, Inc.
In June, 2008, Lisa began serving as the Stephen Leader for the United Methodist Church of Lake Orion.
Lisa believes that her social work degree, extensive business experience in managing and administering
complex programs along with her Stephen Ministry training provide good tools to effectively carry out
the duties of the Stephen Leader position.
Lisa lives in Lake Orion with her husband, Dave, of 21 years and her eight year old daughter, Emma.
Amy Lieblein

amy.lieblein@sbcglobal.netAmy has been our Volunteer Coordinator since April of 2007. She grew up in Canfield, Ohio and is a graduate of Canfield High School. Amy graduated from General Motors Institute (Kettering University) in 1981 and received her Master of Arts Degree, from Michigan State University (1988), in Adult Education, with a specialty in Training in Industry.
In addition to her work at United Methodist Church of Lake Orion, Amy is a Cross Country Coach for Lake Orion's
Waldon Middle School and the Assistant Track Coach for Scripps Middle School.
Amy is married to Rick Lieblein and has three daughters: Sara, Lisa, and Miranda. Amy enjoys running,
bicycling,
gardening, reading, and going for rides to Eva's Ice Cream Shop in Rick's 1956 Pontiac Starchief.

He is a native of Wyoming, Michigan, and is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and has attended Western Michigan University. Before coming to the United Methodist Church of Lake Orion in 2004 John served as the Director of Music at Redford Aldersgate and Mount Clemens First United Methodist Churches. He has also served at Faith, Plainfield Avenue, and Epworth United Methodist Churches in the Grand Rapids area. John is active in the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts, the American Guild of Organists, and the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers.
John is married to D'Anna who is a medical research assistant at Henry Ford Hospital. Their daughters, Laura and Erin, are students at Troy High School.
