At Hero Headquarters, kids will meet unlikely Bible heroes who are often overlooked. They were not famous leaders or called by God to perform amazing miracles, yet their small acts were used by God to do wonderful things. We will help kids discover that if they’re willing to be used by God in any situation, no matter how big or how small, they can make a difference. With God’s power at work, they can be heroes right where they are!

Co-directors will be Beth Widgren and Patty Smiles for the morning session, and Trudy Carney for the evening session, with Donna Waite as their consultant. We’re just starting our planning, so stay tuned for further updates.
In the meantime, you can think about how YOU would like to be involved in this year’s VBS. If you would like to help plan or lead any of the stations (music, snacks, games, Bible stories, crafts) for either the Mixed Ages or Preschool children, morning or evening, contact Donna at 248-693-6201, ext. 206 or e-mail donnabwaite@aol.com. There will also be a special youth program for students who are currently in 5th and 6th grades and we will need leaders for that.
